I got this arm mount so I can watch videos on my phone from my bed. It does the job well. The mount has a wide range of adjustments, can be adjusted easily and is very stable. I can easily use the phone’s touchscreen and the phone will not shake at all. This makes this mount much better than the cheaper mounts that use the flexible rod design. Flexible rod mounts will shake a lot when you use the touchscreen which is annoying.
The ball in the ball joint at the end has a 17mm diameter. So if you have an attachment that can be attached to a joint of this size, you can attach it. I actually don’t use this mount with the original phone/tablet clamp but with a smaller phone only clamp (from my other mount). I like the phone only clamp for attaching phones better, but the included tablet/phone clamp also does the job. The openings on the included phone/tablet camp are 8.5mm wide so when you attach a phone, almost all headphone or power cables should be able to fit through the openings.
